The client was looking for a solution that would allow them to gradually expand their charging infrastructure conveniently and easily add it to a unified, controllable system within the building, and offer employees the option of charging at home.

The client was looking for a unified system for all depots across Slovakia to allow its couriers to charge seamlessly in any of them, while at the same time providing the administrator with clear overall charging statistics.

In addition to hundreds of charging stations across Slovakia, the client needed a comprehensive overview of vehicle consumption and to assign it to the correct cost center. All of this needs to be imported into their existing SAP system on a monthly basis.

The client needed a quick and cost-effective preparation for the installation of charging stations for a new residential project. Standard concreting of the foundations would significantly extend the implementation time and disrupt the visual impression of the area.

AgeVolt SmartBase

Instead, we implemented AgeVolt SmartBase – underground shafts with laid cabling for future charging stations, equipped with a load-bearing cover that perfectly blends into the surrounding architecture. This approach shortened construction time, reduced costs, while maintaining the aesthetics of the parking lot.

The client requested that payments for charging could be made through the existing parking system, so visitors would have the convenience of only one payment point when leaving the car park.

Integrating the charging system with the parking system

AgeVolt has prepared the integration of SmartSystem with the Triton parking system. Although it was an individual request for a tailor-made client, this innovation is now available to all AgeVolt SmartSystem users.

The client is electrifying a fleet of vehicles and was building 70 charging points at one location. He was looking for a solution that would work even with low reserved electrical capacity and would not overload the electrical grid.

Intelligent charging power management

In addition to chargers, AgeVolt also installed its SmartSystem on site, which intelligently manages vehicle charging so that the electrical network does not collapse even when all charging points are used at once.

The client needed a simple and quick solution to enable one-time charging for visitors (regular employees are assigned RFID cards).

AgeVolt has developed the “Share Via Link” feature, which allows a client to quickly and easily share a charging station with a visitor in a single step without logging in or registering.

When purchasing an electric vehicle, the new owner also receives a Kia Charge customer card, which allows them to charge in a wide network of Kia partner chargers. The client needed to add AgeVolt chargers to this network, which are available at every Kia dealership in Slovakia.

Hubject

We have connected MyAgeVolt to the international roaming platform Hubject, which allows Kia Charge card owners to conveniently charge at AgeVolt stations.
