Charging as an employee benefit
Companies no longer reward workers with just meal vouchers or fitness vouchers. A growing number of employees drive electric cars, but there is no place to charge their cars at work at a fair price. AgeVolt turns the company parking lot into a convenient charging zone , without having to strengthen the electrical connection or hire additional people for administration.
Problem
- Chaos when looking for a free parking space – few outlets, employee blocking colleagues.
- High fees from external operators - price of €0.45/kWh even during the day, administrative fees for RFID cards.
- Manual administration - HR rewrites notes, the operator wastes time in Excel spreadsheets.
- No data control – accounting does not know whether it is a business trip or private charging, and who will pay the VAT.
Possible consequences
If you let a company charge its own electric vehicle, the benefit will quickly turn into disappointment. An employee who charges their car at home for €0.18/kWh will not see the 30–50% higher company price as an advantage. On the contrary, they will start looking for a cheaper way.
Moreover, one public station in the parking lot creates unnecessary congestion: drivers have to take turns during the day, re-park, and check their phones to see when it is their “turn.” This disrupts the flow of work – tens of minutes of productive time are lost, frustration and vehicle downtime increase.
Meanwhile, the administration is carrying its own burden. Refunds and comparing invoices from different suppliers make energy even more expensive, and the ESG report is just a set of rough estimates. The result is expensive, unsustainable and time-consuming charging, which damages motivation and the company's reputation.
Solution
Smart charging without increasing capacity
AgeVolt turns a company parking lot into a reliable source of energy. We connect our energy management to the existing connection. The system monitors how much current is currently being consumed by production, air conditioning or elevators and immediately sends the remaining power to the chargers. Thanks to this, the distributor's contractual limit is never exceeded and the company does not pay any monthly fees for reserved capacity - it charges at a price close to domestic rates, approximately €0.18/kWh.
Cables that grow with you
We lay the cables "once and for all". We lay one thick feed into the underground loop; today a few wallboxes are connected to it, and twenty more can be easily added a year, without demolishing concrete and shutting down operations. The same solution can handle 7 kW AC for passenger cars and 150 kW DC for a van, so the infrastructure grows with the fleet and can comfortably serve the public after working hours.
MyAgeVolt: Management that thinks for you
Everything is managed by the MyAgeVolt cloud service. With one tap, the HR manager sets a free tariff for business trips, an internal price for private charging and a market price for visits. Each transaction is assigned to the vehicle registration number and user in real time, exported to payroll software or accounting, and is also included in the CO₂ report for ESG. The driver only needs a single RFID card or mobile app to unlock the charger at work, at home on a wallbox and at thousands of e-roaming stations.
