This document explains how we process the personal data of customers, visitors to the e-shop, persons communicating with customer support and other persons in connection with the e-shop https://agevolt.com.

If you use a separate AgeVolt platform, application or service outside the e-shop, separate privacy rules may also apply to that platform, application or service.

2. What Data We Process

We process mainly the following categories of data:

  • identification data: name, surname, business name, Company ID No., Tax ID No., VAT ID No.,
  • contact data: address, e-mail, telephone number,
  • order data: ordered products and services, price, payment, delivery address, billing details,
  • payment data to the extent necessary to record the payment; payment card details are processed by the payment gateway and not directly by AgeVolt,
  • communication data: the content of e-mails, messages, telephone or service requests,
  • technical data: IP address, device and browser data, cookies, logs, security records,
  • marketing data: consents, preferences and campaign responses, if you have provided or allowed them.

3. Purposes and Legal Bases of Processing

4. Who We May Disclose Data To

Personal data may be made available mainly to the following categories of recipients:

  • providers of the e-shop platform and technical infrastructure,
  • payment gateways, banks and payment service providers,
  • carriers, courier companies and installation or service partners,
  • accounting, tax and legal advisors,
  • providers of customer support, CRM, e-mail and marketing tools,
  • public authorities, where required by law,
  • partners involved in processing the order, installation, service or complaint.

Where providers process personal data on our behalf, we enter into data processing agreements with them if required by law.

5. Transfers Outside the EU/EEA

Some technical or marketing providers may process data outside the European Union or the European Economic Area. In such cases, we ensure that the transfer is based on an appropriate legal mechanism, such as an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses or another lawful basis.

6. How Long We Keep Data

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose, in particular:

  • data relating to orders and contracts for the duration of the contract and subsequently for the applicable limitation periods,
  • accounting and tax documents for the period required by law,
  • data relating to complaints and service requests during their handling and subsequently for the period necessary to protect rights,
  • marketing data until consent is withdrawn or an objection is made, or until the expiry of a reasonable period,
  • cookies according to the period stated in the cookie banner or in the available privacy settings on the e-shop.

7. Your Rights

In connection with the processing of personal data, you have in particular the right:

  • to access your personal data,
  • to rectify inaccurate data,
  • to erase data if the statutory conditions are met,
  • to restrict processing,
  • to data portability,
  • to object to processing based on legitimate interest,
  • to withdraw consent if processing is based on consent,
  • to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.

9. Cookies

The e-shop uses cookies and similar technologies mainly to ensure the functioning of the e-shop, cart, checkout, security, traffic measurement and marketing, if permitted. Non-essential cookies are used according to the customer's settings through Shopify Customer privacy and the cookie banner displayed on the e-shop.

The customer can manage preferences for non-essential cookies through the cookie banner or the available privacy settings on the e-shop.

10. Obligation to Provide Data

Providing data necessary for the order, delivery, payment, invoicing or complaint is a contractual or statutory requirement. Without such data, we may not be able to process the order, deliver the goods, provide the service or comply with a legal obligation.

Providing data for marketing purposes and non-essential cookies is voluntary.

11. Changes to This Document

We may update this document from time to time. The current version is always available on the e-shop.

12. Language Versions

This English version is provided for convenience. In the event of any discrepancy between the Slovak and English versions, the Slovak version shall prevail, unless mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise.
