Accounting for revenue from electric vehicle charging
Article contents
The monthly settlement process depends on your agreement and Space configuration. You can issue the invoice yourself or use agreed self-billing. Self-billing is not an automatic requirement for every operator.
1. Check the monthly statement
Compare the statement with the transactions for the relevant period. Check the billing details, reference number, amounts and fees against your agreement. Keep the statement for accounting.
2. Your own invoice or self-billing
If you issue the invoice yourself: use the details and period shown in the statement. Include the statement reference and your invoice number. Send the document to invoices@agevolt.com.
If self-billing has been agreed and enabled: the platform issues an invoice on your behalf according to the configuration. Check it and record it in your accounts. Do not issue or send the same invoice a second time.
3. Verify the payout
Check the account holder and IBAN. Depending on the configuration, you can retain the credit, request a withdrawal or use automatic withdrawals. Self-billing and automatic withdrawal are separate settings.
Where to find the settings
In the interface described in the MyAgeVolt guide, billing details are in Space settings and the billing mode is under Station owner → Billing terms. Available items depend on your application and permissions. Do not assume that the older Wallet procedure applies universally to today's navigation.
