An intelligent AC charging station for electric vehicles with two charging points and a maximum charging power of 2x22 kW. The charger can be configured according to the individual needs of its owner, who can also choose their own branding. It is suitable for installation indoors as well as outdoors.

Sophisticated user and power management, charging data collection, report generation and other advanced functions are available both offline (thanks to the AgeVolt SmartSystem) and online (after connecting to a digital platform such as MyAgeVolt).

Charging power

The charger is designed for a maximum charging power of 2 × 22 kW. The actual charging power is affected by:

• the SmartSystem settings, which regulate charging according to the client’s requirements (for example, to prevent the contracted capacity from being exceeded or the circuit breakers from tripping);
• the vehicle’s maximum charging power, which is typically between 3.7 and 7.4 kW for single-phase onboard chargers and usually between 11 and 22 kW for three-phase onboard chargers.

AgeVolt SmartSystem

The charging station is controlled by the AgeVolt SmartSystem, making it an intelligent and sophisticated device. It enables charging power optimisation to protect the electrical network from overloading, transaction recording, user management, report generation, the use of photovoltaic energy and much more, without requiring an internet connection.

One SmartSystem can control 1 to 100 charging stations at a single location. This means that one SmartSystem is usually sufficient for one car park, while additional charging stations can be purchased and connected gradually over the years.

MyAgeVolt

Thanks to the OCPP 1.6-J protocol, the charging station can connect to standard cloud-based charging platforms such as MyAgeVolt, which enables the charger to be shared with the public according to the owner’s own prices and rules, provides advanced fleet management, cost monitoring and many other functions.

The charging station features 2 NFC tags, which simplify the use of the AgeVolt application.
