AgeVolt Smart Cable Charger — user guide
Important information before starting
Full charger functionality requires connection to the digital platform my.agevolt.com. After connection, the charger is assigned to your account and all charging transactions are securely saved in the history.
Do not have an account? Create one in the portal MyAgeVolt.
What will you need?
- An account in my.agevolt.com.
- Station ID (DeviceID) (on the rear — the top 8 engraved characters).

- RFID card for authorization, supplied with the charging station.
- AgeVolt mobile application for signing in and control.
Detailed setup
1) Creating a charger profile in MyAgeVolt
In the portal, go to the correct location and zone, create a new station and enter the details. Ensure the correct Station ID (DeviceID). Open the portal: MyAgeVolt.
As this is a mobile charging station, the location can be named, for example: Mobile charging stations, The zone can categorize charging stations, for example by company department or employee role.
2. Adding and assigning an RFID card
An RFID card used for charging must be assigned to a vehicle. Adding the card identifier to a user alone does not replace vehicle assignment.
- In the Android application on an NFC-capable phone, use the available RFID card addition option and scan the card. If you do not have a suitable phone, ask the space administrator or helpdesk for assistance.
- Select or create a vehicle in the space and assign its charging card. For cards supplied preconfigured, check the existing assignment.
- Test starting charging and verify in MyAgeVolt that the transaction belongs to the correct vehicle.
If your phone has no NFC reader, enter the card number manually. If you do not know it, contact our helpdesk at +421 222 122 214 and we will help add the card.
If anything is unclear or you would prefer to configure settings with our technician, book an online call [here].
When booking, mention that you need help setting up Smart Cable Charger.
Choose this option also when adding several chargers to an account or arranging reimbursement of employees' home charging.
Before the call, create an account in the MyAgeVolt portal.
Using the charger
- Connecting to the power supply
- Connect the charger to a suitable socket. You can use CEE 400 V/32 A or the supplied 230 V/16 A adapter.
- After switching on, wait for the station to connect to the portal.

- Vehicle connection
- Connect the cable to the vehicle.
- The green LED begins flashing. This means authorization is required.
- Authorization and starting
- Authorize using the MyAgeVolt mobile application or the RFID card/fob added in the previous step.
- After successful authorization, the green LED flashes more slowly: charging is in progress. CHARGE appears at the top right of the display.
- During charging
- If the yellow LED lights or flashes, it indicates an error. Check the connection or contact support at +421 222 122 214.
- Ending charging
- The LED stops flashing when charging finishes.
- Disconnect the vehicle and, if required, the charger from the power supply. To ensure charging completion data reach the portal, disconnect the charger from the vehicle first and from the power supply afterwards.
For companies and fleets
If the charger will be used for fleet charging (employees charge at home and the company reimburses costs based on reports), we recommend a short online meeting with a technician. They will cover:
- connecting devices to the company's account,
- access settings and rules,
- user identification using RFID,
- report and automated reimbursement settings,
- recommendations for company processes and records.
Create an account at my.agevolt.com before the meeting. Booking
Troubleshooting: quick diagnostics
- The station is not online in the portal: check the charging station display and restart the charger. If this does not help, contact the helpdesk.
- Authorization failed: check that the card is added to the account and active. Try starting charging in the application.
- Yellow LED: error: check that the cable is correctly connected to the vehicle. If the error persists, contact support.
- Completion record is missing: when disconnecting, always disconnect the vehicle first, then unplug the charger from the socket. The station sends the transaction completion record after disconnection from the vehicle.
Safety and recommendations
- Use only suitably protected sockets. Do not overload the socket.
- Do not use an extension cable.
- Protect the device from mechanical damage. Do not use it if it is visibly damaged.
