A junction box is an important electrical installation component used for the safe branching and connection of electrical wires. It enables several cables to be connected easily at a single point and creates an organised and protected junction within the electrical installation.

In practice, it is used when installing charging stations, lighting circuits, electrical sockets and other electrical equipment. It enables the electrical power supply to be divided quickly and reliably in several directions without requiring more complex modifications to the cabling.

It is particularly suitable wherever several devices need to be connected or existing electrical circuits need to be extended – for example, when installing multiple AgeVolt charging stations.
