SmartSystem + SmartMeter
We add metering where it is useful.
Are only chargers connected behind the circuit breaker? Data from managed stations may be enough to monitor the limit. Do other appliances share the supply? We add metering for the total consumption or use your existing metering.

Additional limits based on the building and wiring. Metering where other appliances are also connected.
Distributing power among vehicles. For a circuit containing only chargers, their combined consumption may be sufficient.
What does the system monitor at each level?
The main supply, sub-distribution boards and charging circuits can each have their own limits. At a metered point, we set the required limit in amperes or kilowatts. For a circuit with no other appliances, we monitor the current limit using data from managed chargers.
How do I choose sensors for SmartMeter?
Based on the measured current and the cable or busbar dimensions. We use conventional current sensors and flexible Rogowski coils. A suitable assembly can measure up to 3,600 A. We confirm the exact type, opening size and range in the offer.
How are the devices connected?
SmartMeter connects to SmartSystem through CIB. SmartSystem connects to the network via Ethernet or Wi-Fi with a suitable adapter. Shelly 3EM-63W uses Wi-Fi, while Shelly Pro 3EM also supports Ethernet. Depending on the assembly, they can supply management data locally or through the cloud.
Can management use the building's technology?
We connect compatible metering and control through Modbus TCP / RTU. If the building system only provides binary outputs, we use a configured I/O converter. Depending on the building's outputs, we can configure power levels or continuously variable limits.

Help with preparation and delivery →Do I need every device?
No. The assembly depends on the number of chargers, the wiring and the metering you already have. One SmartSystem can use multiple SmartMeters, but not every location needs a separate meter.
What is the difference between metering and management?
Metering provides consumption data. Management adjusts charging power using that data and configured limits. SmartMeter forms part of an assembly with SmartSystem; Shelly supplies data for the chosen management method.
Can I also connect existing chargers?
We check compatibility based on the stations and connection method. You do not need to replace every device just to add suitable management.
What is included in device prices?
