Building management in the age of electromobility. Turning a technical burden into a business advantage
Article contents
Tenants, employees and visitors need charging with different rules. Building managers need an overview of access, consumption and capacity without another complicated system.
Separate usage arrangements, not necessarily the car park
MyAgeVolt rules allow stations to be shared with selected groups, prices to be set and usage to be monitored. One location can therefore serve regular users and visitors according to the operator's settings.
Protect available electrical capacity
Charging power can adapt to the building's current consumption. Metering is designed for points that supply other loads alongside chargers. Dedicated charger branches can be managed using their limits and station data.
Choose stations based on parking
Generally consider AC for longer parking; DC may make sense for short visits. Selection depends on parking duration, vehicles, the supply connection and expansion plans. Parking or building system integration is prepared around the available interfaces.
Agree responsibility for operation
- Who manages access and prices.
- Who monitors usage and prepares settlement.
- Who is the technical contact and whom drivers call if a fault occurs.
