A simple guide to obtaining a Slovak CPO identifier

Article contents

This guide describes applications for beneficiaries of calls V05 and V06. Before applying, follow the current form and IDRO instructions. The CPO identifier identifies the operator; its allocation alone does not connect stations to a roaming network.

How to obtain a Slovak charging point operator identification code

Who this guide is for

This guide is intended for beneficiaries of support under calls 03I04-26-V05 and 03I04-26-V06who will act in their own name as the legal operators of publicly accessible charging points, known as CPO.

If your company will operate the supported charging points, you must apply for allocation of your own Slovak charging point operator identification code, known as SK ID.

Why registration is required

During project implementation, the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic introduced a requirement under which every entity acting as a charging point operator or mobility service provider must receive the relevant identification code through IDRO.

The charging point operator must also present itself externally as the entity responsible for their management and operation. The EVSE IDs of individual supported charging points must be linked to its own CPO identification code.

This is more than a technical charging station setting. The identification code determines which entity is registered as the operator of specific charging points in relation to users, the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic and other market participants.

  1. Open the electronic service on slovensko.sk and sign in on behalf of your company using eID.
  2. Enter the company's identification details exactly as recorded in the commercial register: name, company registration number (IČO), legal form, VAT/tax identification number and registered office.
  3. Enter the statutory representative and contact person. If the contact person is also the statutory representative, indicate this in the form.
  4. In the business section, select the role CPO, the fuel Electricity and enter the actual number of operated locations. An operator using AgeVolt services generally does not apply for an MSP/EMP code. AgeVolt provides this role.
  5. Complete the additional information truthfully for your circumstances. For the technical platform/API, you may specify MyAgeVolt.com / AgeVolt Slovakia, s. r. o.
  6. Check the application, sign it with a qualified electronic signature and submit it.
  7. Save the delivery acknowledgement, date and submission reference and send them to AgeVolt. The allocated code will arrive in your electronic mailbox. Forward it to AgeVolt promptly so the stations can be configured.
